Affiliate disclosure
FindPerformanceTires participates in retailer affiliate programs. When you click through to a retailer and make a purchase, that retailer may pay us a commission — at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price you would going to the retailer directly.
This never affects what we show you. Results are ranked solely by how well they match your search — your size priority, availability, and total price. We do not accept payment for placement, and we never rank a tire higher because it earns us more.
What we collect
FindPerformanceTires does not require an account and does not collect personal information — no name, email, or payment details. We do collect anonymous, aggregate usage data to improve the tool (see Analytics below), and we never sell your data.
If we add optional accounts in the future (for example, to save searches or send back-in-stock alerts), we will only use the information you provide to deliver those features, and we will update this page before doing so.
Cookies & third parties
Affiliate links may set a cookie through the retailer's affiliate network so a referral can be credited — this is standard for affiliate links and carries no sensitive information. When you click through to a retailer, that retailer's own terms and privacy policy govern your visit and purchase. We do not process payments or receive any payment details.
On this site itself, the only cookie we set is a single first-party analytics cookie — and only if you accept it (see Analytics below). Decline and no cookie or identifier is stored.
Analytics
We use PostHog, a third-party analytics tool, to understand how the tool is used and where to improve it — for example, which tire sizes and filters are searched, which pages are viewed, and when a buy link is clicked. This data is aggregate: it isn't tied to your name, email, or any account, we build no advertising profile, and we never sell it.
By default our analytics is cookieless — it measures visits, searches, and clicks without storing anything on your device. With your consent, we additionally store one first-party cookie holding a random identifier (no personal information) so we can recognize returning visitors and report unique-visitor counts accurately. If you decline, we keep only the cookieless analytics — no cookie or persistent identifier is stored. To keep the stats meaningful, PostHog also records approximate location (derived from your IP) and basic device/browser details.
